Executive Leadership Training

We run focused training programs for directors, VPs, and senior managers who need to sharpen how they lead teams, handle conflict, and make high-stakes decisions. Our programs are built around real scenarios drawn from Canadian industries: manufacturing, finance, healthcare, and technology.

What we offer

Each program targets a specific leadership challenge. We don't bundle everything into a single generic workshop. Instead, you pick the modules your team actually needs, and we build the schedule around your quarterly calendar.

Strategic decision-making

A two-day intensive that walks your leadership team through structured decision frameworks. Participants work through four case studies based on real Canadian business situations: a product recall in Ontario manufacturing, a merger negotiation in Quebec financial services, a staffing crisis in Alberta healthcare, and a go-to-market pivot for a B.C. tech startup. Each case ends with a facilitated debrief where we identify patterns in how your team weighs risk, assigns accountability, and communicates choices downward.

Conflict resolution for senior teams

When two directors disagree on budget allocation or strategic direction, the cost shows up in delayed projects and disengaged middle managers. This one-day workshop teaches a structured mediation process your executives can use without outside facilitators. We practise with role-play exercises grounded in common friction points: cross-departmental resource fights, succession disagreements, and competing regional priorities. Participants leave with a written conflict protocol they can implement the following Monday.

Performance coaching skills

Most executives know how to evaluate performance. Fewer know how to coach it forward. This three-session program (spread over six weeks) teaches your leaders to run 20-minute coaching conversations that actually change behaviour. We cover goal-setting language, feedback timing, and how to handle the conversation when someone pushes back. Between sessions, participants practise with their own direct reports and bring recordings (audio only) for peer review.

Why organizations choose us

Executive coach facilitating a strategy session at a whiteboard

Our lead facilitator, Dr. Margaux Pelletier, spent fourteen years as a VP of operations at two TSX-listed companies before founding Leadership Guidance Hub in 2017. She doesn't teach theory she read about. She teaches what she did, what failed, and what she would do differently.

Every facilitator on our roster has held a director-level or higher position for at least eight years. We don't hire recent MBA graduates to train your C-suite. The people in the room with your leaders have sat in the same chair, made similar mistakes, and learned from them the hard way.

We cap every cohort at twelve participants. That number is deliberate: large enough for meaningful group dynamics, small enough that every person gets individual feedback. If your leadership team is bigger than twelve, we split into parallel cohorts and bring them together for a combined exercise on the final day.

Programs are delivered on-site at your offices, at our training space in Laval, or through a hybrid format that pairs in-person intensives with virtual follow-up sessions. We schedule around your fiscal calendar, not ours.

What participants say

"I came in sceptical. Two days later, I had a decision framework I still use every week. The case studies felt like problems I actually face, not textbook abstractions."
— Nathalie Grignon, VP of operations, Montréal manufacturing firm
"The conflict resolution workshop saved us from losing a senior director. We had a real disagreement about regional strategy, and the protocol we learned gave us a way to work through it without anyone threatening to resign."
— David Okafor, CEO, Ottawa-based health tech company
"Margaux's coaching module changed how I give feedback. I used to dump everything into annual reviews. Now I have short, focused conversations every two weeks, and my team's output has gone up noticeably."
— Sylvain Tremblay, Director of engineering, Québec City
